Welcome to the Instructor Companion Site for

The Ethical Journalist: Making Responsible Decisions in the Digital Age, 2nd Edition

Welcome to the website for The Ethical Journalist, where students and instructors will find additional resources supplementing the textbook's content.

By using the Browse by Chapter tab at the top, students can access reference material expanding the issues covered in each chapter. For each chapter (except Chapter 20, which is a review), there is a file titled "Study Resources," listing references and providing hyperlinks to articles available on the World Wide Web. In many of the chapters, there are also additional Point of View essays and Case Studies. All of this content is updated regularly, making The Ethical Journalist a living textbook.

By using the Browse by Resource tab at the top, instructors can access an instructors' guide containing model course schedules, teaching suggestions, PowerPoint slides, a list of audiovisual aids, suggested quiz and examination questions, and interactive classroom exercises. A password is required to access this section of the site. If you are an instructor visiting for the first time, you will need to complete a quick registration, and you will then be sent a password for access to the materials. This section also includes access to the chapter-by-chapter "Study Resources," and additional Point of View essays and Case Studies – the same material that is openly available to students under the Browse by Chapter tab.
