Instructor Companion Site

User Contributions

This section contains material submitted by users of the text, colleagues in the field, who have found needs and developed resources to fill them, and who are willing to share them.

The first set of user-contributed materials comes from Prof. Celina Byers of Oakland University. Celina has developed a set of guidelines and rubrics for instructor guides and participant guides. She has supplied the guidelines she uses for a course project. The best way to read these documents is to download them all to the same location. After downloading the .zip or .exe file, open instrproj.doc first, and follow the internal links from there.

If you have resources you would be willing to share with your colleagues in this site, send them as email attachments to [email protected].

In your email message to us, please give us some background, such as that provided above from Prof. Byers, and we will include your material with citation of the source (as performed above).

Also, could you please give us explicit permission to use the material you send. Words to the effect "you have my permission to use this material in your site" are sufficient. Although our approach in this site is to be open-source and not terribly legalistic, as part of a publisher-supported site, we feel the need to ask your permission (in addition to its being implied by sending the material to use for use in the site).
