Data Sets

These Data Sets provide data for the end of chapter problems in the book. For most questions where data is needed, there are 3 files. One is a STATA data set of the form chXqY.dta where X and Y are the chapter and question of the relevant question from the book.

Please note: For those who have the statistical software program Stata, it will be easier to use the .dta files provided. A set of ascii files with unformatted data has also been provided along with a .txt file describing what is in the ascii file for those who don't have the Stata software program.

For a couple of questions, a spreadsheet is provided in Excel format with the extension .xls.
