The book does not assume any previous knowledge about reflection and is of practical use to those wanting to learn about reflection and what it may have to offer them. This latest edition also tries to convey something of the spirit of the times, which is proving challenging for the education of health care professionals and in the UK is particularly marked by cutbacks in staff which have a profound effect on the preparation and continuing education of nurses. The book aims to make you curious about reflection, in a way that gets you thinking about the issues involved and challenges you to look at your view of the world. Essentially we hope it will be useful to all those involved and interested in developing, using and investigating reflective practice.
