Welcome to the Student Companion Site for

Child and Adolescent Therapy: Science and Art

Welcome to the web site for Child and Adolescent Therapy: Science and Art.  The web site provides materials for therapists to use in sessions with parents and children.  These materials include handouts and worksheets for clients to take home and scripted material that therapists can use as guidelines.  The materials, and the uses to which they can be put, are described in the book.

There is a special feature available for the majority of materials that do not involve graphic design and are in WORD format.  Readers can modify these materials in any way they choose in order to customize them for individual clients.  For instance, Chapters 10 and 11 include several behavior contracts, charts, and point systems; these materials can be used exactly as they are, or you make whatever changes you want to customize them for your clients.  Our intention is to create a collaboration in which we provide a framework and you then tailor the materials to suit your clinical purposes.

Good luck!  We look forward to being with you – in spirit as well as on paper – in your therapy sessions with children and families.
