About the Author

Phil Jevon has worked in the NHS for over 30 years. He qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1986 and specialised in Coronary Care Nursing. He was a Resuscitation Training Officer from 1993 to 2010, and now works in Medical Education.

Phil has published over 20 books on resuscitation and emergency care, and over 130 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He designed the Medical Emergencies in the Dental Practice poster which featured in the BDJ and Dental Update, and works for the West Midlands Post Graduate Dental Deanery providing CPR/AED/Medical Emergencies training for all members of the dental team.
