Welcome to the student companion site for Managing Minor Musculoskeletal Injuries and Conditions.
If you have any problems accessing or finding your way through the site, contact Wiley Blackwell at: [email protected].
The site may be used either as a stand-alone source of additional information; or the book may be used to point you to relevant sections on the website which will provide you with a variety of more detailed experiences as you progress.
On this website, you will find:
- PowerPoint X-rays that can be freely used by lecturers as base materials for teaching sessions as well as by students working alone. These X-rays are grouped, as in the book’s chapters, to test recognition of key signs and visuals and includes enlarged sections to show significant details, plus accompanying comments or questions and answers.
- A range of clinical photographic tutorials of patients, plus accompanying comments or questions and answers.
- Legal scenarios testing you on management of common problem areas and offering guidance.
- Clinical notes scenarios demonstrating examples of good and bad practice and accompanied by key learning points.
- Patient history scenarios to test your diagnostic skills.
- Although basic answers to the multiple choice questions (MCQs) are provided in the book, more detailed explanation to each answer is given here.
For more details, see the note from the author.
Resources are displayed in two ways:
- Using the menu at the top, select a chapter. A list of resources available for that particular chapter will be provided.
- Using the menu at the top, select a resource. This will allow you to access a particular resource section. You will then have the option of selecting resources within the section or going directly to a specific chapter.
