Welcome to the Web site for Strategic Modelling and Business Dynamics - A Feedback Systems Approach by John Morecroft. This Web site gives you access to the rich tools and resources available for this text.

The resources are organised into four themes chosen to match the content and sequence of the book. The first theme is Feedback Systems Thinking and Puzzling Dynamics and spans Chapters 1, 2 and 3. The second theme is Conceptualisation and Cyclical Dynamics and spans Chapters 4 and 5. The third theme is Growth, Stagnation and Decline and covers Chapters 6 and 7. The final theme is Applications, Model Validity and Learning and covers Chapters 8, 9 and 10.

You can access these resources in two ways:

  1. Using the menu at the top of the page, select a chapter. A list of resources available for that particular chapter will be provided.

  2. Click the name of the Theme or resource type you wish to browse in the navigation menu at the top.

The site contains Lectures, Workshops, Assignments, and some relevant journal articles.

System Dynamics Review, the journal of the System Dynamics Society, is published quarterly by John Wiley & Sons, under the editorship of Brian Dangerfield of the University of Salford and an international editorial board. The Review publishes high quality, peer-reviewed advances in systems thinking and system dynamics and their applications to societal, technical, managerial, and environmental problems.

The Review is available online through Wiley InterScience to subscribing institutions and to society members.
