Welcome to the Web site for Fundamentals of Groundwater by Frank Schwarz and Hobao Zhang. This Web site gives you access to the rich tools and resources available for this text. You can access these resources in two ways:
- Using the drop-down menu at the top left, select a chapter. A list of resources available for that particular chapter will be provided.
- Click the name of the resource you wish to use in the left navigation menu. This will allow you to access a particular resource section. You will then have the option of selecting resources within the section or going directly to a specific chapter.
Our resources for this text include:
Programs. A collection of windows-based, executable programs that facilitate calculations performed in various chapters in the text. You will need to download these programs to your hard drive, and follow directions provided in your text.
Data Templates. A series of word files, which help you interpret tests performed in various chapters of the text.
Excel files. These files include data addressed in your text, and programs for calculating mass transport.
Shows. This resource category includes Power Point shows that illustrate field methods and technology, and take you on virtual tours of areas studied and field problems.
Chapter 23. This page includes an additional chapter, "Modeling Contaminant Transport." along with excel files and a program related to this chapter.
